The short version
- This website does not ask for your name or email. It has no sign-up forms and no tracking or advertising cookies.
- When you buy, you pay on Gumroad, not on this website. Gumroad handles the payment and sends you the book.
- We never see or store your card number.
This website
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. The pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google also receives your IP address when a page opens.
During your visit the site keeps one or two small notes in your browser: whether the welcome-discount window has been shown, and your discount code once you have revealed it. They stay on your device, disappear when you close the tab and are never sent to us. Cloudflare also counts visits to the site without cookies, so we can see how many people come; it does not identify you.
When you buy
Purchases are processed by Gumroad, which acts as the seller of record and handles payment, sales tax and delivery. Gumroad’s own privacy policy applies at checkout. For each order Gumroad shares with us your email address, your name if you gave one, your country and what you bought. We use this only to deliver your book, answer your questions and handle refunds. We do not sell, rent or share it with anyone.
When you email us
If you write to [email protected], we use your message and address only to reply to you.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Just email us. Some order records have to be kept for tax and accounting.
Children
This website and the book are written for adults.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
